Description

The forecourt walls and gatepiers to No 44 Vale Street are likely from the early 18th century. The walls are made of heavy dressed, squared stone and feature flat copings. There is a pair of piers at the front that have the same type of copings. To the left, there is a pedestrian arched opening, which was probably altered in the 1930s, and this opening includes a decorative wrought iron gate.
