Description
The outbuilding at Llanrhaeadr Hall is a single-storey structure with a rectangular plan, built from rough-dressed, squared, and coursed limestone blocks, featuring a brick eaves course. It has a shallow-pitched, hipped slate roof with a plain, rendered chimney located off-centre to the left. The southeast side facing the house has two entrances at the centre, both of which retain their original recessed five-panel fielded doors, complete with tooled limestone lintels and moulded labels.
On the northwest side, there is a modern garage entrance at the centre, which has replaced a former window. Flanking this entrance are two windows on the left and one on the right, all of which maintain their original recessed twelve-pane unhorned sashes. These windows are adorned with projecting sandstone surrounds that feature segmental heads, expressed keystones, imposts, and sills. The southwest end of the building also has two similar windows, while the northeast end includes another large modern garage door.
Inside, the building has a four-bay layout with hipped ends and original pegged kingpost trusses. The central section features a plastered ceiling with a simple moulded cornice that partly survives, along with a decorated slate floor made of conjoined octagons. The right-hand section contains a wide segmental fireplace, and one of the windows retains its original fielded panelled reveals and shutters.
