Description
Plasse is a symmetrical two-storey farmhouse built from local axe-dressed limestone, featuring a roof covered in small slates with a tile ridge and stone end-chimneys. At the rear, there is a central full-height wing. The two main gables, along with the gable of the rear wing, have stonework that extends above the slating level but is not coped. A modern low-pitched rear annexe is located at the northwest corner, while an earlier lean-to rear annexe is at the southwest corner.
At the front, the main door is now situated behind a large modern porch, and the window above it has been enlarged. The outer windows maintain their original proportions, with twelve-pane unequal sash windows above and a 16-pane sash window below on the left. On the right, there is a fixed 16-pane window below, with the lower windows featuring voussoir heads. The rear includes horizontally sliding sash windows above and below, as well as one modern rooflight.
Inside, there is a central entrance hall with main reception rooms on either side. The room to the right was originally the kitchen and includes a large fireplace.
