Description
The boundary railings in front of Moelfa and 1-14 are a Grade II listed structure. They front Railway Terrace and enclose a footpath that leads to the front doors of the cottages. The ground slopes sharply to the north, and the boundary serves as a retaining wall starting from No 5.
The boundary consists of a rubble stone wall with dressed stone coping, which supports plain iron railings topped with spear finials. The main posts feature decorative conical finials. To the north, where the wall is taller, there are raked buttresses for support. The boundary continues slightly beyond the northern end of the terrace, where it steps down and features narrower railings in the same design.
