Description
This is a single-storey farm building, including a cart-shed, located on the north side of the farmyard at Ffynogion. It has six bays and is built of random stone under a slate roof, with the front facing south into the farmyard. On the left side, there is a two-bay stable featuring a full-height door opening on the left and a wooden casement window on the right, although the right-hand light has been infilled with breeze blocks. To the right of the stable is a four-bay cart-shed, which has full-height open bays divided by square stone piers. In front of the cart-shed, there are some open lean-to sheds supported by timber posts. The rear elevation includes ventilation slits. The eastern gable end connects to a two-bay addition that is open to the north side. Inside, the building features light timber trusses that date from the 19th century.
