Description

The Welsh Baptist Chapel is a two-storey building dating from the 19th century. It features a brown brick facade with limestone rubble on the side and rear elevations, along with some stone dressings and a slate roof. The symmetrical three-window brick facade has a gable that is treated as a pediment. It includes round-arched windows with small-pane glazing and marginal bars, as well as stone sills. The central arched doorway is fitted with panelled double-leaf doors. Each side elevation has two camber-headed windows, also with small-pane glazing and marginal bars, arranged over two levels. At the rear, there is a single-storey extension, which has two round-arched windows above it, similar to those on the front. The interior of the chapel retains its gallery.
