Description

Glan-y-Ddol is a small two-storey cottage built in the early 19th century. It features a modern slate roof and a chimney on the left side, with weather coursing and a plain cornice. There is a single 12-pane sash window recessed on each floor, dating from the 19th century. To the left, slightly set back, is a lean-to porch made of rubble with a slate roof. This porch has a modern door that does not match the character of the building at the front and a boarded store door on the side. At the rear, there is a larger single-storey extension made of rubble, also with a slate roof, which is half-hipped towards the back. The interior was not inspected during the re-survey in January 1996.
