Description
Pont-y-rhuddfa is a bridge constructed from local stone rubble. It features a single segmental arch made of slightly inset voussoirs, which is about 55 centimeters deep, and includes a regulating course. The spandrels rise uninterrupted to a flush stone-coped parapet. The splayed abutments have walls that extend from the parallel-sided bridge, with the copings reaching square end piers. The parapet follows the line of the road, sloping downwards to the north. Some of the copings on the east side have been replaced with concrete.
