Description
Maesmor Hall is a 19th-century house built of pebbledashed stone with stone ashlar dressings and a slate roof, designed in the Tudor Gothic style. The structure features a rectangular three-storey block with single-storey side extensions and a three-storey wing extending from the rear, all supported by angle corner buttresses. The main façade, facing south-southwest, has five bays, with the central bay containing a storeyed porch that is open on the ground floor and also has angle buttresses. The first floor of the porch includes framed cross windows with a pedimented cornice and a corbel table, while similar cross windows are found on the sides of the porch block. The ground and first floors of the main block also feature cross windows with margin glazing set within chamfered stone surrounds, topped with label mouldings. The attic has two-light windows, each adorned with a small eaves gable and cusped bargeboards, a design that is mirrored on the top floor of the porch. The house is capped with tall yellow-brick chimney stacks. At each end, there are single-storey bays with gabled roofs at right angles, which include added bow windows. The rear service block is notable for its paired gable stack and a tall gothic window with 'Y'-tracery in the gable end. The side elevations are fitted with twelve-paned sash windows.
Inside, the house features a contemporary interior with a large dining room located on the rear elevation, accessible via an ante-room that connects to the kitchen at the back.
