St Kilda Hotel, 7-9 Gloddaeth Crescent

The St Kilda Hotel, located at 7-9 Gloddaeth Crescent, is a hotel that consists of three of the four units from a taller central block that includes numbers 7 to 10 Gloddaeth Crescent. In total, there are nine windows across these units.

Number 7 is a four-storey building with a basement and features three windows. The exterior is finished in stucco with sill courses and has a slate roof. It is adorned with a dentil and modillion cornice. The top floor has three square windows with casement glazing, while the second floor features sash windows set in shouldered architraves. On the first floor, to the right, there is a sash window with a bracketed segmental pediment, and to the left, a bow window that extends down to the basement level, topped with a lead canopy roof. This bow window has three round-headed lights on the first floor and square heads on the lower floors. The ground floor includes a doorway with moulded spandrels and a plain semicircular overlight.

Number 8 mirrors the design of number 7 but is reversed from left to right. It has two windows on the left side that are part of an advanced block, which shares a hipped roof with number 9.

Number 9 is similar to number 8 but is also reversed from left to right. On the top floor, it features three circular lunettes, as depicted in a 19th-century view by Bank. This unit retains the tracery in the overlight of its doorway.
