Description
6 Cwlach Road is a building that stands three to four storeys tall, featuring a front elevation with three bays, including a tower bay at each end. From the south-west, the first bay resembles an Italianate belvedere tower topped with a pyramidal slate roof. It has a window with four round-headed lights and pilasters at the attic storey, a window with three round-headed lights on the second floor, a two-light window on the first floor, and on the ground floor, a prostyle portico with a canopy supported by modillions, a half-glazed panelled door, and a rectangular fanlight.
The second bay projects forward and is gabled, featuring a four-light casement window on the second floor and a storeyed, three-light canted bay window with sash lights and a hipped roof on the ground and first floors. The third bay recedes again and is designed as a three-storey Italianate belvedere tower with a pyramidal roof and projecting eaves. It includes a window with three round-headed lights and pilasters with archivolts on the second floor, a casement window with a canopy on brackets on the first floor, and a canted three-light bay window with plan sash lights on the ground floor. The house is set behind a forecourt enclosed by a boundary wall made of stone with ashlar coping and rusticated stone piers.
