Description

Tan-Rallt is a two-storey terrace of workman's cottages located on Gwynant Street, built in the second quarter of the 19th century. The cottages are constructed from roughly-squared stone blocks and feature a continuous slate roof with a tiled ridge and plain, shared chimneys. Each cottage has a single window with returned slate labels and slate lintels on the ground floor. All the doors are from the 20th century. Of the ground floor windows, number 18 retains the original 16-pane sash, while numbers 18 and 19 have smaller 16-pane sashes from the 19th century under the eaves; the remaining windows are modern. This terrace is part of a group of four cottages.
