Description

The premises of Manweb is a two or more storey building featuring one window, constructed from coursed rubble masonry. It has a moderately pitched slate roof with plain eaves and close verges, along with stone stacks and water tabling.

At the top storey, there is a broad gabled stone dormer with plain bargeboards. The building includes a tripartite Victorian sash window with narrow sidelights, supported by a stone lintel and sill. On the first floor, there is a broad tripartite sash window, which has a 16-pane sash in the centre and 8-pane side sashes, all beneath a deep stone lintel.

The ground floor showcases a late 19th-century shopfront, featuring a pedimented fascia with Tudor rose motifs on reeded consoles. It has sunk panelled pilasters and a moulded blind box with scalloped lead capping and bosses. There is a deep modern fascia above original six flush panel double doors at the centre, which have a slate sill. The shopfront also includes modern glazing and brick stallrisers.
