Description

The Telford Milestone is a 19th-century milestone made from dressed Anglesey limestone. It features a shallow triangular head and raking chamfered sides. There is a cast iron inset plate with white lettering on a black background that reads: HOLY- / HEAD / 43 / C. CURIG / 3M - 5 F / CERNIOGE / 10M – 6F. Additionally, there is a benchmark on the stone below the plate.
