Description

26 Sea View Terrace is a three-storey building with a basement, featuring a pebbledash exterior and a slate roof with rendered end chimneys. The facade has three windows: the second floor has 9-pane hornless sashes, while the first floor has 12-pane hornless sashes. The central entrance on the ground floor is accessed by steps and is flanked by Doric pillars, topped with a broad segmental overlight that includes fan glazing. On either side of the entrance, there are later 19th-century splayed bay windows that cantilever over the basement, featuring horned sash glazing. The basement windows have small pane glazing. The left return of the building includes a 9-pane sash window on the second floor and a lean-to garage. The basement area and steps are enclosed by iron railings with arrow-head finials.
