Description
The gates and gatepiers opposite the coach-house, along with the curved wall adjoining to the northeast, are notable features. The tall rubble gatepiers rise from square buttressed walls on either side. The upper sections are offset and topped with reconstituted stone moulded capping, which is adorned with flaming urn finials. The gates are simple and low, also featuring urn finials, and are painted in the estate's distinctive gold and light blue colors.
To the left of the left pier, a rubble wall slopes up from a natural rock foundation, connecting to a concave curved wall that measures approximately 15 meters long and 1.5 meters high. Stone ball finials cap both ends of this wall, with the left end terminating on a square pier that has reconstituted capping.
