Description

The lych gate and churchyard wall at Llangelynin church are situated on a sloping site. The churchyard features coped rubble walls, with the wall on the west side serving as a retaining wall against a steep bank; part of its coping has fallen. The gabled lych gate is constructed of rubble stone and has a slate roof behind coped gables. The entrances are fitted with lintels, and there is an iron gate on the outer side. Inside, the lych gate has a simple timber roof construction and benches built into the side walls.
