Description
Ty-newydd is a single-storey building constructed of large greenstone rubble and topped with a slate roof. It consists of two rooms, featuring gable stacks and a lean-to at the northern end. The central entrance is set within a slate orthostatic porch, with a boarded door. There are small, deeply recessed windows on either side of the door, likely 4-pane casements, and a small light for the loft in the southern gable end. The substantial stacks are designed with weather drips. The wide lean-to includes a boarded door and two windows at the northern end.
Additionally, there are attached walls made of boulders that enclose the field to the north. The building was not accessible at the time of inspection.
