Description

Middle Parc is an L-shaped building made up of two connected sections, with the main part having two stories and the other part having one and a half stories. It is constructed from rubble and features slate roofs with tiled ridges. The building has slate coved eaves and overlapping slab-coped gable parapets with shaped kneelers. The main block has end chimneys, including a cylindrical chimney to the north with moulded capping and weathercoursing, a tall cylindrical chimney at the angle between the two ranges, and a large end chimney on the smaller block with a narrower raised upper stage.

The main block showcases exceptionally long quoins at its southern corner and small square lights on the southeast gable and along the long southwest side. Most of the windows are modern small-pane designs, with primary openings largely retaining their original form. The subsidiary block has modern windows and openings, along with the remains of a stone newel stair that leads to the gable of a demolished earlier house known as Parc 2. There is a modern single-storey lean-to on the northwest gable, topped with a corrugated asbestos roof. The smaller block features a long catslide roof on the northeast (rear) side, with a small-slate roof and a 12-pane casement window in a catslide dormer, which also has a corrugated roof. Additionally, there is a modern single-storey porch at the rear of the main block.

To the west, there is a square fountain basin, each side measuring about 3 meters in length. It has slate-flagged coping in two levels, with four slatestone steps leading down into a central pool on the northeast side. On the northwest side, a small basin in the center serves the spring. The interior of the building was not inspected during the survey.
