Description

3 Hoel y Llan is part of a group of properties at 3-15 Church Street, Tremadog. It is a 2-storey terrace comprising 4 houses and a shop, constructed primarily of large, roughly dressed blocks of quarried stone laid in regular courses. The buildings have renewed slate roofs with projecting eaves, and stone and roughcast stacks. The details of the buildings vary.

One of the properties, specifically 3 Hoel y Llan, is a single-fronted, 2-storey terraced house constructed of the same roughly dressed stone, with a slate roof on projecting eaves and a stone stack to the right. It features a replacement glazed door to the left and replacement 16-pane horned sash windows, which are smaller on the upper storey. A vertical joint between numbers 1 and 3, and a slightly lower ridge line at number 3, suggest these properties were built at different times. Similarly, the stone courses between numbers 3 and 5 do not align, indicating differing dates for these houses as well. The property was not inspected.
