Description
Cefn-y-meysydd isaf is a mid-19th century building featuring rubble stonework and slate roofs. The southeast front has two storeys and two window bays, with gable stacks and 16-paned sash windows. At the rear, there is a one-bay service wing that was partly rebuilt in the 19th century and extended to the northeast in more recent times. A side door provides access to a cross passage. The building is connected by a lean-to shelter to a washhouse-bakehouse structure, likely dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. Inside, there is a large fireplace and stack from the 17th century, which shows signs of a circular newel stair at the rear, although this has now been broken through to the rear bay.
