Description
This former outbuilding of Plas Ynys Tywyn, now attached to a Co-op supermarket, is a lofted structure built from large slate-stone blocks arranged in regular courses, topped with a slate roof. The gable end features a bellcote above a small-pane loft window, which is framed in steel and has been replaced. Below this loft window is a larger window of a similar design. The left side wall includes three open bays supported by slate-stone orthostats and lintels. On the right side wall, there is an inserted opening that creates a pedestrian way through the building, which is enclosed within an open-fronted canopy that connects to the supermarket at the rear.
