Description
2 Llain Fattw is a cottage that features a colour wash over rubble stone, which may have been refaced to resemble clom construction. The roof is made of corrugated tin sheets, and there is a rendered gable stack on the left side. The cottage is single storey with two windows and a central door. The windows are from the 20th century, while the door is made of timber with glazed upper panels. At the rear, there is a flat-roofed extension, and the rear elevation is supported by a pair of buttresses. To the right side of the rear, there is a single square modern window in the right-hand room. The gable has been rebuilt using blockwork. The adjoining property, No.1, has a lower ridge line.
Although largely modernised, the cottage retains the layout of a lobby entrance leading into the left-hand room, which features a large gable fireplace. The ceiling structure consists of beams and joists, and the roof structure from the 20th century is made of light timbers.
