Description
The former threshing barn at Braich y Saint is constructed from random slate rubble, with smaller stones filling the gaps between the larger ones. It features a slate roof and is built against a slope, with two opposing doors, each adorned with a steep rough voussoir arch. The interior space is divided unevenly into one to two bays by the entrances. There is a single small vent located at the rear of the barn, and an upper entry with a rough timber lintel in the west gable wall. The barn has a slate threshing floor and rough queen strut trusses, which include a ridge and two purlins that are set into the wall below the current wall plate.
