Plas Penbwll is a 2-storey double-fronted house that features roughcast painted green with smooth-rendered architraves and a slate roof, which has a small skylight added. The entrance is positioned to the right and includes a replacement panel door. The windows are round-headed, made of iron, and have small-pane radial glazing, incorporating small pivoting lights, likely cast at Britannia Foundry. The rear of the house has replacement windows.
