Description
The Toll House is an octagonal, two-storey building that features a symmetrical design with single-storey wings to the west and south. Its stone walls are roughcast and whitewashed, topped by a slate roof with projecting eaves. The central stack is located on the octagonal section, while each wing has gable stacks. A slate-roofed verandah is supported by seven cast iron posts linked by railings, with a gate positioned in front of the doorway on the northeast face. The windows are slightly recessed three-light casements. Each side of the upper storey has window-sized recesses; the north and east faces display toll boards, the northeast has a matching three-light casement above the door, and the other faces are blank. The building was not accessible at the time of the resurvey.
