Description
The Black Lion Inn is a two-storey building that includes a public house on the left and an attached residence that has been converted into a single house on the right. The structure features a linear design, with a render finish over rubble and a slate roof, which is grouted on the right-hand section. The end wall and axial stacks indicate the original divisions of the dwelling.
The public house has a long range of three windows, which may have originally been a two-unit house and cottage. There is a doorway in a porch located between the two left-hand windows, while the right-hand bay has two closely spaced windows. The windows are 20th-century casements, likely replacing earlier sash windows, and are adorned with shaped, eared, and shouldered architraves. The first-floor windows are positioned directly under the eaves.
