Description
This is a single storey vernacular cottage with a flat-roofed addition built against the north gable. The cottage is constructed of rubble masonry and is limewashed. It features a roof made of small old slates that are grouted, with stone copings on the south end and tiled copings on the north end. There is a massive square chimney stack with dripstones and capping on the south gable, which serves the inglenook, and a rendered rectangular stack on the north.
The principal elevation faces an enclosed garden to the east and consists of a two-window range with a door in between, with the openings offset to the right (north). The windows are small paned sashes. The rear elevation has a tiny single window at the south end. The flat-roofed addition has rendered elevations and modern casement windows. The interior was not inspected at the time of the survey.
