Description
Tyddyn Pwyth is a row of three terraced cottages, built in the 19th century, each featuring a two-unit plan with a central doorway. The cottages are two storeys high and constructed from rubble, topped with a slate roof that has rectangular brick stacks, with the right end stack rendered in rubble. The lower storey has 16-pane sash windows, while the upper storey features a mix of small, 9-pane sashes and bottom-hung casements set under the eaves.
The site was originally a farmhouse and includes boulder foundations with massive gritstone quoins and a square rendered stone stack. The windows of the two other cottages in the row are set at a lower level. The lower openings have stone lintels, and there is a plank door with a narrow overlight. Later extensions have been added to the rear and left end of the cottages.
