Description

5 Victoria Terrace is a two-storey terrace built in the late 19th century. The exterior is rendered with a cement finish, and the roofs are slate. The terrace has eight windows. The first floor windows are mostly small-pane, hornless sashes. The ground floor features four late 19th-century splayed bay windows with horned sash glazing and iron columns at the corners, and two paired doorways with projecting rendered surrounds. A broad, segmentally-headed carriage archway is located to the right. A projecting bay to the left rises three storeys and was originally part of the central bay of a hotel. This three-storey bay has a hornless sash window on the top floor, a 12-paned, horned sash window on the first floor, and a late 19th-century splayed bay window on the ground floor. A large rear block extends from the main terrace, featuring four windows facing north and three windows facing west.
