Description
15 Stanley Street is part of a terrace of two-storey brick houses, built with a slate roof and brick stacks. The windows feature dressed limestone surrounds with monolithic jambs and round heads with keystones on the lower storey. The two-light windows have wooden mullions and small-pane casements, along with transoms in the lower storey. The houses are arranged in pairs of three bays, with the central bay containing a passage that has a plain round brick arch, leading to boarded front doors and the back yards. Above the passage, there is also a window. On the right-hand end, the passage leads to No 23 and to the yard behind 9 Wexham Street. The return elevation on Wexham Street has three windows and features a boarded door under a round-headed overlight and plain brick arch, with the upper left-hand window blocked. A window was added in the 20th century at the right end.
The left gable end of No 13 is roughcast, while the rear has small-pane horizontal-sliding sash windows. This building is part of a group that includes 13-23 Stanley Street and 9 Wexham Street.
