Description
The walls and railings at the entrance opposite the Grand Lodge are a Grade II listed feature. They consist of curved stretches of railed walling that flank ornate gates on the southwest side of the road leading to the Llys Dulas estate. The walling is finished with squared, dressed stone pillars that have roll chamfered angles, moulded capping, and shaped finials, with the central pair serving as gatepiers. The walls are made of dressed stone with raking coping and are topped by closely spaced railings featuring fleur-de-lys finials. The wrought iron gates are highly ornate, showcasing a complex design of intricate scrollwork.
