This is a group of five 18th-century buildings in Livingston Village, traditionally built with rubble walls and lime-washed at the western end, which is known as the 'Old School House'. The buildings have gabled fronts with skew roofs and are covered with slate. The listing recognizes the group value of these buildings. It applies to both the exterior and interior of the buildings. The statutory address is 5 Houses, known as The Old School House and The Dandys, 1 Main Street. The buildings are part of a group listing, re-categorised from B to C(S) in 2006.
