Description
Leithhead Farm comprises a house and steading, located by the Water of Leith. The house dates to the earlier 19th century and is a traditional two-storey, three-bay structure built of rubble. It has a skew-gabled plan and a slated roof. The steading, of the 18th century, is of one and two storeys with lofts, and has pantiled roofs. The steading was formerly a mill-house, originally a corn mill known as Arbocule's. This mill is now derelict, with the upper two storeys removed and the wheel gone.
