Description

Loch Lomond And Trossachs National Park Planning Authority

The Brig o' Michael is a large rubble-built 18th century bridge with a single segmental-arched span carrying a road over the Black Water. The carriageway is humped and flanked by rubble parapets with rough rubble coping of upended stones. The bridge spans the boundary between the parishes of Aberfoyle and Callander. The Brig o' Michael is a relatively large, unaltered rural bridge of the 18th century.
