Description

Kirkton Bridge, built around 1792, features an elliptical single arch with curved wing walls over Kirkton Burn. The parapet wall rises to a shallow triangular point at the center. This bridge holds significant historic interest and is situated in a prominent location in the center of Balquhidder. It is constructed from random rubble, with roughly squared rubble used for the parapet copes and voussoirs.
