Description
Ogle Burn Bridge, built around 1798, is a single round-arched bridge located relatively low to the water. The arch is positioned between slightly battered abutments, and there is a string course at the base of the parapet. The ends of the parapet curve down to the ground. This bridge is a well-preserved example of a late 18th century road bridge, constructed as part of the improvements to the Military Road from Stirling to Fort William, making it historically significant. The materials used in its construction include squared, coursed masonry.
