Description
Allt An Deabhtaich Bridge, located in Glen Ogle, was built around 1798. It is a single round-arched bridge featuring a tall, narrow arch positioned between broad, slightly battered abutments. There is a string course at the base of the parapet, and the ends of the parapet curve down to the ground. The stream bed beneath the arch is roughly paved. This bridge is a well-preserved example of a late 18th century road bridge, constructed as part of the improvements to the Military Road from Stirling to Fort William, making it historically significant. The materials used in its construction include squared, coursed masonry.
