Description
The bridge at Glen Ogle, built around 1798, is a single round-arched structure featuring a narrow arch set between broad, slightly battered abutments. It has a string course at the base of the parapet, which curves down to the ground at both ends. This bridge is a well-preserved example of a late 18th century road bridge, constructed as part of the improvements to the Military Road from Stirling to Fort William, making it historically significant. The materials used in its construction include squared, coursed masonry.
