Description

Balavil Bridge, built around 1800, is a single span bridge made of rubble with a dressed rubble arch ring. It features a later 19th century parapet made of carved polished ashlar, which includes panelled and centrally corniced piers. Decorative cast-iron railings are positioned along the splayed approach to the bridge.
