Gig House And Stables, Allt-Na-Giubhsaich, Glenmuik

The Gig House and Stables at Allt-na-Giubhsaich, built after 1848, is an L-plan structure located to the east of the cottages along the roadside. It is constructed from squared and coursed variegated granite.

The gig house features two carriage openings on its northeast elevation and has gabled return elevations. The left return has a blinded door at ground level and a hayloft opening in the gable head above, which has been blocked as a window. The rear L-plan stable block includes a door flanked by slit ventilators on the southeast side, with a tall dormered, piend-roofed hayloft door above, also slate-hung. There is a lower gabled stone outbuilding with two doors attached to the left gabled return. Additionally, a small gabled wing is present on the northwest side, featuring a gablehead stack and cast-iron rooflights.

The roof is covered with graded grey slates, and the structure has raised, ashlar coped skews.
