Description
The Laundry and Cottage at Aultmore House, built around 1915-1920, consists of a range of an assembly hall and three cottages. The exterior is harled with rendered margins, featuring multi-pane glazing, harled stacks, and piended roofs made of Banffshire slate with projecting eaves.
The assembly hall, located on the left, is a two-bay structure with two long windows on the south elevation that break the wallhead beneath piended dormers. The entrance is flanked by a window on the west gable.
To the right, the Curlew cottage projects forward from the assembly hall. It is a two-bay dwelling with an entrance and a window to the right, and a single front window that rises through the wallhead under a piended dormer.
The Kestrel and Osprey are a pair of two-storey semi-detached houses, each featuring two front bays and wide entrances. They have a single front and side dormer window that breaks the wallhead under a piended roof.
