Description
Leddriegreen House is a laird's house built around 1760-1770. It features a central two-storey block with three bays, connected to single-storey pavilions that have simple pediments. The exterior is harled, with rusticated masonry quoins and ashlar dressings. The central entrance has a rusticated doorpiece, which is obscured by a glazed porch.
In around 1913, the ground floor windows were extended to create square projecting five-light windows, while the first floor has three windows with a 12-pane glazing pattern and two piended dormers. The house has straight skews and end stacks, with low linking ranges that have altered window designs. The outer pavilions feature Venetian windows and blind oculi in their pediments. The roofs are covered with slate.
Inside, the hall includes a small modillion and rosette cornice, along with a newel stair. The drawing room has a shallow curved back wall, and the original cornice is repeated in the projecting window.
