Description
Kincardine Parish Church is a neo-Perpendicular style church constructed between 1814 and 1816, designed by Richard Crichton. The building is an aisled rectangular structure comprising three bays, with a clerestory and a west tower. In 1907, a chancel was added, with the work overseen by H.O. Tarbolton, and lofts were removed at this time. The church remains in ecclesiastical use and contains good mural monuments. Records relating to the church can be found in the New Statistical Account, volume X, page 12657, and in Hay’s Parish Church Survey, pages 116 and following.
