Description

The site comprises the ruins of a sawmill. The structure is rubble-built and contains an approximately 14-foot by 6-foot by 3-foot 6-inch all-iron breast water wheel, which has been disused since 1962. Further details are recorded in the New Statistical Account, volume X, page 1277.
