Description
10 and 12 New Street in Bridge of Allan is a building dated 1849. It is two stories high, harled and whitewashed with margins, situated on a corner site. The New Street facade features three windows and an oriel window, while the gable facing Allanvale Road has one window and a v-fronted bipartite window at the ground floor. Above this, there is a blind narrow window with a blocked pediment over a cornice at the first floor, along with a lozenge date panel and an ashlar chimneyhead. The left-hand angle of the building is splayed and corbelled to a square near the wallhead. The roof is slated.
