Description

The Whins, located at 34 Park Terrace in Stirling, is a mid-19th century building designed in the Victorian Renaissance style. Originally, it was a two-storey structure with two windows, featuring polished ashlar stonework and a right-hand canted bay. The building includes a swagged Ionic columned porch with a parapet decorated with interlocked circles and a bracketed cornice. An additional two-storey and attic pavilion was added to the left side, which has tripartite windows and a broken segmentally pedimented dormer. The roof is a French pavilion style, with quoined ends and slated roofs.
