Description
An early 19th century barn and byres are combined under a single roof. The building is constructed of rubble with roughly dressed stone details. The SE gable features two segmental arched cart entrances above which are ventilator slits for the hayloft. Behind the cart entrances is a large lower barn, while byres and stores are situated along the long sides of the barn. The north gable has three doors and an opening to the hayloft. A small water channel leads into the building. The roof is a large, half-hipped slate roof with two tiers of roof lights, designed to illuminate the byre ranges and hayloft.
