Description
This is a late 18th century bridge spanning the Boquhan Burn. It features three segmental arches; the outer arches are lower and narrower than the central one. The bridge is constructed of red sandstone, with ashlar facing on the arch rings and pilaster strips which rise from the cutwaters to form dies within the parapet. Splayed abutments are present. Two piers are situated on the bridge between the central and southern arches, and these may have originally served as gate piers.
