Description

9 Kenilworth Road is an early Victorian semi-detached house featuring two storeys and a basement. The building is constructed from coursed rubble and has raised quoins, architraves, and an eaves cornice. Each side has two windows and a canted bay, with a splayed doorpiece that is pilastered and has railed steps leading up to it. The plans for the two halves of the building are reversed. The roof is piended and slated, and the original glazing remains intact throughout the property. However, there is an unfortunate early 20th-century two-storey extension to the left at No. 9, which is harled and half-timbered.
